Actually, on international long haul, the only Flight Attendants who even interacted with the pilots were the most senior working First Class and the pursers, most of whom were in relationships. They have different layovers at different hotels and the rules work all differently for them. They negotiate their union contracts separately so usually, every flight we worked, we had a different cockpit. Most of the gay guys actually had partners outside the industry as a rule.
