She is an expert date coach and renowned matchmaker, who has been happily married for many years with 2 kids! We have THE team that you want in your ‘dating canoe’. SDA’s date coaching is the best way to find love – it’s best described as having a personal trainer for your dating life. We make dating fun, inspiring and focused! You don’t feel like you’re alone in the dating world anymore – because you have a team that knows you, and knows how to make you successful.

Of course now, since there is a market for natural hair products, there are plenty of products and styling methods for natural hair that ease the pain-in-the-butt factor in regards to styling moisterizing, and maintaining natural hair that didn’t exist 30 years ago, so this factor probably isn’t as significant as it would have been 30 years ago.

You may expect this from strangers or colleagues, but what about romantic interests? What might you experience in a relationship with a person who knows zero about natural hair? What should you expect? Well let me tell you my experience. I am currently in a blasian relationship with a Chinese-American guy who knew nada about natural hair. He was enthralled with my hair and perpetually asked questions about how it stayed curly, what I put in it, if I ever pick it out into a fro, and if I was born with it so curly.

He watched me style my hair in the morning and moisturize it at night. No matter how enthralled he was, I was always a little bit uncomfortable. I was always self-conscious that he would think my curls are gross, dirty, or ugly. I thought about wearing weaves or putting a texturizer in it thinking that it would make him less uncomfortable. So my advice for naturals worried about seeking interracial relationships is to love yourself, love your differences and love each other.

For naturals, our hair is a big part of our image and our self-esteem.
